I am an appointment only artist, which means that when my books open, I will have you fill out the inquiry form found on this website. An inquiry is a request for an appointment that helps us know if we’re a good fit for working together, but unfortunately not a guarantee.
If we are a good fit and our availabilities match, I’ll send you a confirmation email, a booking link, and deposit link to secure your spot.
You can also add yourself to a waitlist if my books are not open yet by filling out the inquiry form on my page!

There are a lot of reasons why we can’t guarantee appointments, even if you submit an inquiry. Most of the time, we just don’t have the availability. Sometimes the design or style falls outside of an artist’s specific skill set.
Other times, we don’t feel comfortable charging our flat rates for the piece if it’s a smaller size and won’t take up a half or full date rate. However, if you have an idea for a few small tattoos, we can schedule them all at once, so you can get the most out of the booking rate!

At Mad Jackal Tattoo Collective, our work is entirely custom, so we wait to show you the drawing at your appointment to prevent theft of the design. We don’t want any tattoo rustlers ‘round these parts.
It’s much easier to talk about changes in person than virtually, and showing the design to friends/family can skew your own opinion on how you feel about the design. Tattoos are a collaboration between artist and client!
We also make our schedules around each appointment, and we draw the design as close to your appointment as possible. This means it’s difficult to find time to draw something in advance, while we are already drawing for other appointments each day. We pride ourselves on giving our clients’ designs as much time, thought, and care as possible, which means we have to preserve our creative energy for each and every one of you!

Unfortunately, we don’t allow numbing cream for color sessions, but it’s possible to use it for linework or blackwork tattoos. There are risks associated with using numbing cream, so we don’t recommend it. We may allow its use under extenuating circumstances, but you will need to let us know in advance and let us offer a specific brand to use. Please don’t come to your appointment having used numbing cream without telling us, as this will affect the quality of work you receive. Let’s chat about it in advance and see how we can help!
-
If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance of your appointment, you can reschedule and keep your deposit.
If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, you will have to forfeit your original deposit and make a second deposit payment in order to reschedule.

Neil’s deposit fee is $200. Kaysee’s deposit fee is $200. Craig’s deposit fee is $150.
