Anime and Video Game Character Tattoos

Decorative Western-inspired border.
A man with a beard and curly hair wearing a brown Carhartt beanie and a black shirt is tattooing a client, with a tattoo artist's gloved hand visible.

I’m Neil Comeau, the founder and co-owner of Mad Jackal Tattoo Collective.

Art has always been a part of my life. Since I was a kid, it’s been the one constant.

More specifically, I’ve always loved tattoos. Like every other dude who was part of their local metal/hardcore scene in their 20s, getting tattoos was all part and parcel of the experience. I became good friends with my regular tattoo artist Randy Burnham, until he eventually offered me an apprenticeship… and the rest is history.

Tattooing is the best job ever, and It’s what I feel like I was put on this planet to do.

I’m licensed as a tattoo artist in the state of New Hampshire, and I’m CPR and first aid certified. I also have an overpriced BFA in fine arts, which I like to think taught me something

I specialize in anime and video game character tattoos because I’m a big ole nerd myself.

I love anime, video games, MTG, DnD and everything in between. My favorite part about specializing in the subject matter that I do is getting to connect with my clients on our mutual love for these things!

Fun fact: I’m also a very okay guitarist in an internationally touring band called Wind Walkers.

Are you ready to book with me? Here’s what happens next!

I am an appointment only artist, which means that when my books open, I will have you fill out the inquiry form found on this website. An inquiry is a request for an appointment that helps us know if we’re a good fit for working together, but unfortunately not a guarantee.

If we are a good fit and our availabilities match, I’ll send you a confirmation email, a booking link, and deposit link to secure your spot.

Because I do large, custom pieces, I book half day and full day rates, rather than by the hour. Here’s what my rates look like:

Half day (4 hours or less): $800.00

Full day (6 hours or more): $1,200.00

Please note: Every appointment requires a deposit of $200.00 to be paid at the time of booking.
